The towering stone walls have kept out invading armies for centuries, and the city itself is built with the finest architecture and stonework. To the east you can hear the sounds of people working on the southen river docks of Palanthas. West of here runs a narrow street along the towering stone walls of the city, while north lies the city and south is the southern gate house. West of here is a narrow street along the side of the city's southern wall. People rush past you as they ferry cargo back and forth from the docks further east. The river can be heard splashing somewhere east of here. To the west lies South road. The Realm of the Dead You are standing on an immense, grey stone floor that stretches as far as you can see in all directions.
