//Sorry I just copied and pasted this while I was playing so the format is off. Here I was playing Solace at 2 in the morning (western time) there were only 4 players in the realms and look who it is.

Trumped-up charges.

If you pay attention, you will see that this happens quite frequently, where cabal members show up somewhat simultaneously (regardless of cabal).  Could be several reasons for that, OOC being but one of them.

I can explain, how this happens. A person become a leader of cabal, or have friendly immortal, who can induct in the cabal. Then this person call to his friends, or talk to them by ICQ IRC, or personally with the drinking of beer. Person says, that to grow the cabal he needs 1 abjurator 1 prest, 2 fighters and so on, or Heretics is in need of ranger and thief. Then when all chars are risen and accepted (all of them tries to play at one time in RL) they call,iRC, ICQ each other something like ''Hey Lets kick person %1 or clan %2 or get thing %3?" Come on dude, me just logined. And so on. And it will be foreva.

Still it's not enough to win  ;D

but enough to ruin solace for most people outside irc/icq gopa. sad. :(

I am Thulga, to suggest such a thing would be done by not only Grissom, but myself or any of the other knights does not look good for you. I suggest you try keeping detect invisible up, or perhaps infravision. We had been on for hours by the point in time you have pasted.

Wait a second... so now you're threatening my character because of things I said at the message board? That's even worse than creating a Cabal on IRC. I was going to  change my name in the post, but I wanted to have an unedited log here, and I thought the people at this board had enough sense not to take RL conflicts to the Realms. 

First of all, I ALWAYS have detect invis+hidden on. The fact remains, at such an odd time of the day (when NO ONE else was playing) your clan made up 75% of the Solace population. Are you flat out denying that you guys know each other in real life and arrange  in-game things from instant messengers etc? No I don't have indesputable proof just this and a lot of similiar situations that support mine and others' theory. This kind of gameplay is what ruined Solace the first time around.

BTW what is a gopa? I have some idea but then again I'm not from russia...

A "gopa" or "gophalyava" is a collective term for a group of russian bears that wait by a stream for passing fish, being the "Gopaushanka" breed of bears that will not waste energy searching for food, but wait with ultimate patience until the fish, or "Fishalyava" becomes trapped by river debris and are collected with zero energy expended.

This is a stupid thread, IMHO. If they know each other, well, guess what there isn't anything you can do about it! What are you suggesting, that we put a limit on how many Solamnic Knights can be in realms at one time? Nothing has been accomplished by posting this. I personally know no solamnic member in RL. The reason there are so many OOC connections is because people enjoy the game, so they tell their buddies --> Hence our growing playerbase. Deal with it and move on. I don't mean to sound harsh or rude, but it's annoying to get whiney posts from people just because some players happen to be logged on at the same time.

What threat?! And why are you still insinuating OOC collaboration between us when an immortal has already shot you down?

I was wondering the same thing, i read, reread everything you said, and i can't find a threat.

He figured you telling him to detect invis meant you were gonna try and kick his ass . . . i guess.

Funny thing is im pretty sure Faelan (a season assassin) was also on at this time, Do you see him in the who list pasted? Actually im almost certain he was on, he is the only one of us with the invisibility spell. Looks like you do not even keep detect hidden up!

Well this thread has gotten kind of stupid, but the main point of my post is that this kind of corruption does exist in clans, and it's making it a lot harder for people who don't have these sorts of "connections". Perhaps I was wrong, but if I was right it's a hell of a lot better to raise my voice about it.

About the "threat": I saw the words "suggesting this... does not look good for you" and pretty much felt like I was hearing my death sentence from a mob boss :p

Oh well, it's just a game and hopefully there's no hard feelings about a misunderstanding.

P.S. Though I highly doubt the possibility there were people there I couldn't see at that time, if there were, that means even MORE of the playerbase was made up of entirely solamnic knights :) I'm just sayin.... :-*

I had to wait at lvl 25.99 for nearly 2 weeks before i managed to even get a hold of Grissom and apply. Then 3 days later finaly got a task to perform. Thanks.

I won't make accusations or anything but i wouldn't be suprised by some ooc inside solamnia at the moment. But saying that ooc is the only way into a clan is complete bull. I managed it as i am sure countless others have. Maybe you are harboring some resentment?

Nah, I haven't made a good-aligned character for over 2 years. And for the record I have had several clanned characters.
