Thats why I deleted my Ichtichitl. Tired of such heretics crap. Even manticore with 1330 hp cant overbite them.
And a question: where the hell you got this manticore manual?

It exsists. I've found one once. Though Heretics sacrificed it :-)

still i think fight vs necros is much harder for alteration..

where found - where people found manuals usually? on mobs..
while playing whis character i saw - 1 manual of manticore, 1 manual of stag and 1 manual of unicorn.
rare, yes. but possible.

ToAkhulas: I know that manuals are loaded randomly, but tell me the area, where manual of manticore was please.

And I heard that abjurators can read this manual too. So they can learn major form. Is it truth? (I know that manticore for evils, stug for neutrals and unicorn for goods)

No when you look at that manual it is written something like that:
A gold 'Manual of the Manticore' appears to be useable by high ranking transmuters of dark soul skilled in alteration.

These forms are only for alteration transmuters.
The chance that you will find same manual in that area is sooooooooo small.

Manticore is really good. We had duel, and i was in wolverine form. One round was enough to make me gushing, hehe.
Btw, in last duel i would try to flee, because erty was fleeing too.

Is the manual of Black Dragon form still around? I remember that from long ago. Remember watching transmuter with dragon form battle branchala as a god. Dragon was winning until branchala became invincible again and finished dragon off with some power word. kinda sucked. but yea, fun fun stuff. Wonder if anyone else remembers. Back in days of first councellor/chancellor of justice. Some dwarf.
