Title: Takhisis' unfortunate trip to the Ironwood.
Post by: Rialon on February 21, 2006, 02:23:54 am

http://solace.i-read-you.ru/forum/logs/lview2.php?log=6

Some strange actions from the side of Takhisis:
several dirt kicks,
only one cleaved shield,
no bashed mount,
unsynchronized fleeing and healing

What i liked: seems the knights, at least some try to act with honour(the necromancer excepted my duel challenge, though Drakoth did not, many things were left untoughed, and not the worst things and all seemed not to mind conversations). But three on one is too much imho. I knew knights in guardians, who did not willingly attack as a third a reraiding person(though Gjarvah always ordered them to of course  :P). Would simply like to know, what people think about such a point of view for cabals with a code of honour of course.

Appl Drunr
Correctly chosen target, high mobility, those things leaded to our fail with raid and even with Drakoth death. But don't hope we'll let you do the same next time :-)

> Durewn concentrates for a moment of prayer.
> A young white dragon is filled with strong restorative energy, as his wounds mend.

bad habbit not to write full names. :-)

Was slow to heal Drakoth. ashamed, by failing to heal, had one aim, to stand inside not to let ranger reborn :-)
As for raid attempt - very unorganized. And I supposed Drakoh to retreat in better condition. Thought before this post that he was holded, but he is not.
I think that all happened becouse we had no experience to fight on raids with person defending... Only defendign our outer ;-)
Just few more raids and we'll act more like a team.

And this was my bad day... I was late to heal all the time. Late to heal, late to smash ;-) Next time I'll drink beer instead of playing Solace in such situation, reminding glorious fights and reading forum! :-)

Respect for braveness, disrespect for other stuff...

Where is your blade barrier?

Why don't you have any other mace (cold, fire, etc)?

Why don't you have elephant as mount and griffon as a war pet?

smirk...

Afterwards I helped Arpade with applicant a bit and leaved realms.
I see later deeds were entertaining too ;)

Everybody has each string devided by empty?
this makes logs hardly readable.

Yes, unfortunally i have not achieved hero rank, and could not withstand blows of your inner quardian well. I should flee and return but I did it too late. But, never the less, I gained a battle expirience, which
is much more precious. Before that raid Durewn and me finished you when you were reraiding us. I took
nothing from you as you fought as brave as Elder of the Tree did. But I was really disappointed when I saw that my torso of fleshly demon disappeared. I doubt that you could use it. But some of my posessions later was returned to me by magical transfering. So I realize that, it could be not you, who took it, but who else was near your inner guardian? I wanna know the name of covard who took things without taking part in battle. In our long conversation you proved that you at least have Honour, so be so kind, I wish to know what has happened? Or maybe some rats is living near grizzly?  ;)

Didn't you notice Emerath?

You are so cool, Critic, does your skull fit your mighty brains?

Imagine yourself some players are a bit less experienced than yourself and may be still learning, which is not a reason to disrespect them or smirk silly at them.

не, не жмет )

конструктивная критика - повод для саморазвития )

Sure, but just in slightly more polite and correct manner.

Sure I noticed him. But I wish to hear, that those one, who has right for battle spoils of war, I mean Drunr, took nothing from me. If its so, I will have nothing to discuss with Emerath. As far as I am conceaned, almost all members of our Knighthood really hate thives, who dont worry about battles, and just worry about getting "shines". And I am sure, that our brave Knights will not decline my offer to hunt down some rats.  ;)

I haven't read the log yet, but from what I have seen over last few days, Takhisis are really starting to behave like a real clan of dark knights, with honour and caring about spreading word of Takhisis instead of just "shinies".

Its not perfect, not at all, but it is an important step and I hope other clans and new players will see its behaviour.

Totally agree with previous author.
*bows deeply before Arpade and Durewn*

And yes, Durewn, when the group of folks is large enough, too much depends on team-work, it will come together with experience when you will just feel the next step of your comrade. ;)

And one more thing fooled me, I remembered that I shrouded Drakoth, but he got great damage, so I was going to shroud him, But that was flesh to dust thing :-)

Every Knight should know powers of enemy well. But in this mud I am evil by nature. So have not chance to test opposite powers. I am always suprised when see solamnia knight wearing nice good only things ;-) For me Krynn desigend by Gods by evil and everything else covered from my sight by darkness :-)

Why do you think that thief could not become the Knight of Takhisis? But he(she) will really need to prove, that he has the Honour amongst his virtues, only a few of thives has honour, so do not expect many of them in our Order, its an exception.

Yesterday I asked Drunr how priest of The Lord of the Nothern mountains managed to become protector
of the forests, its a very rare case. But he explained and I was satisfied by his explanation. But I am still
not sure, how much trees he burns out when forges his hammer. Because there is no coal in forest near Ironwood  ;D

About elephant: you sure it is possible? Tried to buy a horse, but got the 'alreadyhave a pet mesage'. BLade barrier- my bad, missed it falling. And unfortunatelly i do lack any other damage right now, just hate, when my hammer crumbles right in the middle of the battle. :-\
And about damage type also. Arpade's was definatelly not good- Drakoth had much better damage type, whereas Arpade did injures on nature grace and resist cold.

P.S. Critic is critisizing, that's natural.  ;D

Drakoth deals much more damage because we got some new weapons for him together. We'll get weapons for Arpade too ;)

it's possible, just buy elephant first, and only after call griffon

type triggers on spell down

there are a lot of nice maces (damtype, maybe not ave ) you can achieve right now ) try to find them

and think a bit

he is mino, he has native resists to physical, cold, aversion to fire

phantasmal armor grants with holy, phisical and low mental resists

durewn can cast resist fire, cold, lightning, holy, acid

so the best damtype - energy, wrath, maybe fire if durewn doesn't resist Drakoth with fire  8)

there are two maces with poisonus bite damtype, no one has resists except from feat (Snake Blood, but it's not ordinary), find them )

Hmm, thought suction was energy, what the heck is it then. Should have used my chaos sceptre i guess. Triggers for spell up lead to a grave, when they lag you. I prefer to check my affects often and keep in mind the highlighted empowers that are about to fall, and then choose if i want to waste time on the spell up or run or chase. Did not know about that tricky way of having a mount and a griffon, real useful info. Never in all my seven years of playing have i seen anyone use a mace with poisonous bite. Sword and flail- yes, but no mace, so have no idea about them.

Blade barrier is castable during battle.

Title: Re: Takhisis' unfortunate trip to the Ironwood.
Post by: Critic on February 21, 2006, 02:06:54 pm
lol, you don't understand

when affect falls - highlight it and set some variable in trigger, not recast, just mark variable, flag

make ONE alias where all these variables (for every spell in your spellup) will be checked, and if some of them marked - such spell will be casted

type some more triggers, when you successfull spellup yourself with some spell - mark this variable as set

for example:
You no longer feel protected - highlight it and protection=0

#al 0 {#if {@protection=0} {ca prot}}

You feel aligned with darkness - protection=1

so just type "0" from time to time and you will be always spell-upped )

PS: it's just an example, not proper aliases and triggers

Agh, not bad way with setting variables, will implement it.
I know that BB can be cast in batle, just like TB, but automatic lag in battle would be even worse.

Good idea Critic. I'm using Zmud 4.32, you think it will work the same way?

A mishi-cleric is a pain in the butt without TONS of aliases/triggers/keys. What am I saying it's a pain in the but WITH them.

I use 4.62. :) All works fine. I use status line to draw all this variables. Not long ago tryed to use colored buttons instead status line. It works too but there is a feature-bug with empty lines sending to screen. Annoying. :(
So, rtfm and use your brains not only in game but around it. :D
