Title: Revered Guest Post by: Niano on March 04, 2006, 01:01:34 pm I was thinking. Perhaps make a special command for clans, to allow people to come into the clan home. Outer guard will allow this person to pass, and inner guard will not attack. Such as if knights wanted to show appreciation for the help of someone, the could make that person a revered guest and hold a banquet in their honor. Or perhaps for clan negotiations and peace talks, there could be delegation inside clan homes. Add some rp to this, also allow chance for treachery...what do ya think?
Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: aps on March 04, 2006, 02:09:37 pm well i know now treachery is what you'd be doing
don't know if that is good or bad though Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Quino on March 04, 2006, 02:48:41 pm I don't like this idea as then will appear people who will assist protecting clanhalls.
Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Niano on March 04, 2006, 02:53:55 pm Make it strictly against the rules...?*shrug*
Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Matthew on March 04, 2006, 03:40:40 pm Oh you mean like Ximi assisting tower or Heretics assisting Takhisis?!
Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Quino on March 04, 2006, 03:47:54 pm I never saw such actions while I serve Takhisis.
1. But I saw Anarrima assisting Rakkase on reraid not only with spell-up and healing but also smashing my head *grins* 2. And I saw Naire and Mladen assisting Thorgrim (and Erty) reraiding. I don't say they agreed to accept help, but damn this is going far wrong. Something must be changed and someone should be punished Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Anarrima on March 04, 2006, 10:39:01 pm Rakkase is Anarrima's old friend (totally IC), so when Rakkase asked me to assist her, sure I came and helped.
It is the business of knights - to do their quests alone and to mind honor above everything. So probably Rakkase shouldn't have called me. But me as a healer value people's lives and safety above all, and if my friend is in danger, I come to help. Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Quino on March 04, 2006, 11:26:07 pm I'd understand you if you put Rakkase in sanctuary/bless/so on. But spamming 'swing 1.' under my outer dragon is not good example of roleplay of healer.
Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Anarrima on March 05, 2006, 03:01:20 am What I spam or not spam is the matter of tactics, not roleplay. I came with Rakkase to protect her, and the main danger was her low saves and your polymorph spell. My swings didn't harm you much, but succeeded in disrupting your spellcasting. What's wrong about it?
By the way, some people here complain about just the opposite: the healers are too hard to seek and slay because they evade direct combat.. Title: Re: Revered Guest Post by: Quino on March 05, 2006, 03:04:24 am If you'd come along alone and challenged me, I'd love to duel with you any time you wish.
Anyway, thread is thrown offtopic. wbr.. |
