Title: Nether, unholy champion Post by: Quino on August 24, 2006, 08:54:51 pm He holds following item:
[log] .. this object, a three-headed iron morningstar, is a flail, and can be referred to as 'morningstar iron black'. .. ident skipped [/log] Morningstars are maces so perhaps here's a small mistake. Next, he holds axe: [log] .. this object, the great axe named "Suffering", is an axe, and can be referred to as 'axe gread suffering'. [/log] `Great`, perhaps? Title: Re: Nether, unholy champion Post by: Nuitari on August 25, 2006, 03:33:27 pm Technically, morningstar is a spiked metallic ball. It can be attached directly to the handle, making it a mace, or it can be attached to the handle through a length of chain, making it a flail (some versions even omit the handle, attaching chain right to the hand, using a hand-loop).
It says: "three-headed iron morningstar" there are no three-headed maces, but there are three-headed flails (particulary of Indian origin, but they don't use spikes so much, it's more european habit) Title: Re: Nether, unholy champion Post by: Quino on August 25, 2006, 05:36:16 pm Explanation is clear, that's okay.
