In my opinion while Invokers cant do anything to fists (yes yes yes I am lamer, if know how, tell me please) Immortals shouldnt at least force them to mess into direct fight, otherwise its just sh*t. "Now I allow you to reraid..." Bullsh*t.

Invokers are the MOST POWERFULL class in the game.. If you dont want to enable your brains - thats only your problems.
You, knarl, very brave used your wall when I came to reraid while I was 28 lvl.. be so brave now, when I became hero  >:(
I can only give you advice - if you cant play invoker - do not play? *shrugs*

tower mages are nt supposed to be ordered to reraid fanaticaly.

bull sh*t.

mages should be wise. and gods should nt give such stupid orders.

may be mage was going to prepare then reraid, but unseen forced him do a suicid.

Knarl, use elephant, harden, potion of sanc etc, and do what all smart unreals chars do - quit if feel will be in troubles.

Guys.. you're funny.
Wise mage do not join to Tower ranks. If you did it you became not only powers but some other things like raid & reraid.. These rules are for _ALL_ cabals.. and Tower is not a exclusion. And it doesnt any matter wise you or not. If you're wise - try to reraid wisely and dont die. *shrugs*

The first thing i wanted to ask too.
Sanc, harden, improved armor and shield and stone, haste perhaps too. You should be alright. Take time to prepare reraid, never rush it, unless trying to get it over with before some clan empower falls. In this case, i only saw a question from immortal. My answer would be- yes, as soon as i gather all preps. If the heretic is not patient enough and leaves- well, his problem.
Also, just look at herecy on reraid with defenders- pure meat in most cases.  ;)

Sanc, harden, haste must have. And mount, surely.
And your melee damage is too low, heh. Use axe for parry instead or something more damaging. Barbarian is ez.

About your prevoius death: you'll die again on reraid. not to single protector, but reules forces you to reraid (especially if you'r Heretic). it's a fate: Heretic die at least one time cause of wall on reraid. and following: if your link betrays you, or you got sleeped or paralized. And invokers dies to Fists with drum and non-physical wepons.

i'm not argue that i'm not in "top 10 players of Solace". Your Narin good, your triggers ready, your link fast. Good we'll see how your Heretic will fight vs Cler+Fighter (for example).

so, stop exclaiming "use brains!" i saw it in Narin posts ;)
just to mention: i don't offer to downtune Heretics. it was for allowing to delay reraid: to sleep suspicious Heretic. to place collapse successfuly.

1. i don't know really how sanc and harden effective against blue warpaint ... anyway: i waste all my hardens earlier. and as soon as it's not permenanceable: i need VERY MUCH gold (i look like merchant already: selling everything - to get gold) stone skin - used all already too (those one with -40ac ? it not helps much :( at all i have -200 ac how much hitroll he need to hit me (THAC) ? 20 ? bloodthirst+berserk+stance only will supply such amount of hitroll.
2. haste helps against drum ? my dex at maximum aready.
3. forgot about mount. Thank you :) so this post isn't useless (though i'm tired from playing. will leave after Alantas death)

to be exact: i wasn't forced to reraid immediatly.
i was just asked (but it was right after talks with Hatzest. so i count it as reaction to pray (if so: unreal only girls whines :)
but i was really tired ... drunk in train. from train to work. at moment of this death i was more than 13 hours on feet ;) so my reaction was unadequate ;) but not hysteric (so, unreal, you'r bad psychologist ;)

so, let's forget about it. my con is 10-11. age: almost 500 years. let's kill me ;)

Funny behaviour from Hatzest :)
I remember trying to get him out from his Inquisitor with Alana. Not sure, maybe he was not hero by that time, but quiet mode and ignoring yells seemed strange to me. Alana was a noble woman - she never took anything from his corpse and was only asking for a duel of honor.
Funny to see him now speaking about honor and cowardice.

he was not a hero and even not in hero PK-range, and Alana was too impudent after she killed him too fast cause of his low lvl  ;D
Come to me now with such action.. im afraid i'll cut your long ears and will put them into my belt.

pure unluck. channel wears off after 4 hours, after he nail tome to cross.
i gather RedOrbs in that time. w/o sanc this 400hp will not save my smart ass ;)

it's dangerous to place it when heretic stay one step behind barberian. lag awesome.

and in this case he stays in same place with barberian and didn't move: no moves - no collapsing.
