I still cant get why MM was Improved that much....
If you will improve improved MM in the same way it will be one of the coolest damaging spell

sanc, harden, displace, ironskin, spellturn and *DEMOLISH* every round - too kewl.  >:(

Critic its far from ***demolish*** you know. Its about massacres.  but still in past the only way for abjurers to get such a spell was to join a cabal and now they get it for free.

I had mangles-***demolishes*** at 25 rank cleric vs 27 rank trans through soften, shroud and 40 reflexes.

I like "with raistlin" the most.
Try to get one :)
Whatever its offtopic, in general I agree its too cool for abjurers to have such spell as basic one.

=( Because they may be do not understand how hard to play without even 1 damage spell.

most of all of us played by abjurers, Nierth ))
If ONE OF US says it's too hard to play without damage spell (scrolls! wands! orbs!) - it doesn't mean he (she) is right and expirienced in it  ;D

magic missile will be cut for mid-high ranks, warpaint..... probably... in some way or another. It's really too cool.

(havent played abjurers, so this is offtop)
trying to imagine Alodea with staff of stars and improved mm
*shiver* :)

but there is only one staff of stars... what about other abjurers...?
maybe flag chromatic armor with abjurer_only :)
I think 'massacre' with mm and soften would be ideal, because its energy damage, and except invoker noone can get good resistances for that.

Don't you think five demolishes (dismembers/reflex save)/annihilates(spellcraft; ***deva*** with reflex save) will be way too much?

Well, no need to improve every hit to the level of regular one. With spellcraft i get demolishes on low mods with regular missile. 5 Mangles with imroved would be good. Well, maybe not, i don't know. Just seems odd, that a spellbook spell, which states 'improved' actually does same or less damage. So wanted to give the idea a shot. But seems it was not a popular one.
