Title: I don't know if anyone had brought it up
Post by: savak on January 27, 2007, 04:52:33 pm
But an idea for draconian race to be revised would be nice, perhaps using all the different types of draconians, bozak, baaz, sivak, kapak, etc.  Tailor them for classes, Sivaks being better warrior/outcast, auraks being the better mages, so on and so forth, suggestions?

Also, you can do the same for the dwarven race, hill dwarfs, aghar, etc.

Just a thought.

bozak, baaz, savak, kapak  ::)

That's in our todo list - subraces for draconians, dwarves, elves. Mmm.. maybe humans as well.

Savak was a perfectly good name :D

And, if you want I could easily write help files, etc for the draconians, they're my favorite race, alongside humans, I'll offer any input you guys think you might wanna dole out.

Yes, that could be one distribution... And the other distribution is : first race - people with sense for humor, second race - critic :)))
so i will probably make fighter of human race, subrace critic, because i dont have sense for humor too  :P

I dunno what you guys are thinking :P
I was just thinking of a "hardy" type fighter people (23 str 18 int 18 wis 21 dex 22 con)
Maybe a "mage" type person (18 str 22 int 23 wis 17 dex 19 con)
and maybe a Thiefly people :D  (19 str 20 int 18 wis 23 dex 19 con

I know, but I think humans should have a wider variety and take penalties for being a warrior, or a mage, why should a warrior have the same constitution as a mage, etc?
It's just an idea.

hmm, they have same con, but mages get less hp per level than warrior.
Otherwise, elf knight and elf invoker should have different cons too, dark-elf fighter and dark-elf necromancer also, and so on. I suppose it is too much work for poor imms who sleep 2 hours per day... :)
( i am not counting Sirrion here because he is on Havaii on vacations, with three american blondies, basking on beach his golden draconian scales and drinking cold coctail with straw - heh, you wish .. :) )

I propose instead of creating new subraces first of all increase the role of Int. Nowadays its almost useless, well some skills check Int that true but it is stil less important than other attributes. Lets make spell power int dependable for mages and outcasts.

I like the idea zraz has, on the flipside, wisdom should make clerical/druidic powers benefit more for more wisdom.

Have to agree with savak, according to ADnD rules, druidic empowers rely on wisdom.
