animals in the undergrowth come from all around. To the south you can see a HUGE tree rising up in the middle of the glade.

Below the Great Tree
  You are standing below a HUGE ironwood tree. It rises up high above you,
far far over the glade of Beginnings. All around you the sounds of
animals can be heard moving through the wilderness. You can head UP the
tree towards the exit from the Glade, or continue walking through the
glade.
