Title: Octagonal steel medal Post by: Sir Solan on February 24, 2007, 11:24:16 pm You chant a sweet melodious line.
A warm wave of magic flows through your hands as you perceive that.. .. this object, an octagonal steel medal, is a key, and can be referred to as 'medal steel'. It is of 10th level, weighs 2 pounds, and is worth 5 gold. You can wear it around your neck. When worn, it modifies armor class by -7 modifies hit roll by 2 modifies damage roll by 2 modifies strength by 2 Maybe this is right, but is a neck-item supposed to be a key? (And dissapear when you leave realms) Title: Re: Octagonal steel medal Post by: Proph on February 24, 2007, 11:28:28 pm if it actually opens a locked door then it makes sense. If not, it should have A LOT better stats :)

Title: Re: Octagonal steel medal Post by: Sir Solan on February 25, 2007, 02:42:57 am OK OK, so it's a proper key.
Just wierd then that it gives decent newbie combat stats and is worn around neck (and is octagonal), though yes, you can have octagonal keys, especially in a fantasy setting. |
