i believe everyone thinks its ok for abjurers to have imba combat casting and a powerful damaging spell which costs 5 mana along with superb defence :)

I dont think it is ok, but i planned to make one abj too, so i WILL think it is ok :)

Do YOU think that raider? Powerful damaging spell against 0 saves maybe... abjtrans has to have some kind of offense right? (my forms are pure crap)

An unclanned abjurer with no auto-casties can barely kill anyone (and is severely screwed versus any takhisis mage or heretic :().

do you use your shapeshift spell now when you have magic missile which does demolish for 5 mana against unprotected victim?


combat casting gives to abjurers a lot more advantages than any other feat to any other class.

shapeshift? what was that? I have never seen abjurer in form. But  as i have said i am planning to make one, so i do not want to speak bad about abjurers. :) Be silent about it at least two weeks so i can develop nice abjurer :)

Combat casting is a 3rd level feat, so it's a sacrifice no matter what. and you should see how much it fails. I failed sanc 25 times in a row (not exaggerating here) with comcast at 60percent (and it aint easy to train). I really don't think combat casting is overpower, abjurer has SO MANY spells he cannot cast in combat otherwise. Without it I'd have to flee and return 10-20 times before actually paralyzing someone with 20+ saves (actually I still do flee-return a lot because of failure rate of comcast).

And no, I don't use my forms in PK.... This is my first abj and I chose defense forms which is the biggest mistake you can make *sniffs* If i had offense it'd probably be a different story; depending on weaknesses of the opponent.

Final note: magic missile is a 10mana spell and the damage of course was enhanced by soften  ;)

Strange thing with simple items happened to me also, after i lost golden leaf pendant, stone pendant and a piece of chromatic nobody seems to be interested to hunt me any more :)

By the way... you say it was all IC, you have history with Thwor and etc... It maybe so, but the way I see it, you would never have attacked him weren't for that misstel. You would never have attacked him weren't it for you finding out he was with crappy equip and searching for better ones.
You would have never attacked him, until you found out you would profit shinies with
such an attack. IC... => Bleh, yeah right. You really are the Irritable Plunderer if that was IC. "I have reliable information" that says you whine like a baby when you lose your things, so its not all IC.

PS: Yes... magic missile is to over... and yes... Windel is a b*tch all the time... sells herserf for "shinies". Not sure that is RP also...

I can't believe people think it's overpower that I was able to kill a nearly-naked mino-outcast in 12 rounds....

If someone has decent saves it takes me 3 or 4 tries just to land SOFTEN.... and even after that they're usually doing a lot better damage than me. Do not judge abj by this log... please. Anyone in decent eq would've slaughtered thwor there.

I also laughed a lot with my last post ProphallictiC, although it doesn't make it less important. In the clanwars topic (common discussions), you accused me of having OOC relations with Tarli and Xsansarsh. Now you say that Thwor's OOC friends are going to slay you only because of what happened. Well... let me teel you something:
You have some kind of problem dude, going crazy thinking everything is OOC, and worse,

Can you guys please send me a PM if you're just going to attack me for bad RP or want to bring up past threads here? Using that method we can resolve our own issues and not involve/bore a bunch of people who have no idea about it.

I posted the log because I thought it was an interesting set of circumstances and I thought the title I got because of it was pretty funny-- but everyone here wants to hijack the thread and blab about abj overpower and start shoving a bunch of other crap accusations my throat.

Send me a PM or create your own thread if what you're saying is not relevant to the topic PLEASE! I don't want to have to lock this just because people are going on wild tangents.
