Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn. Post by: inkognito on August 02, 2007, 03:55:00 pm nice log, thanks for posting
ps [log] c 'dispel magic' nerkhalynYou intone an ancient mystical chant. Nerkhalyn yells, 'Help! Mya is casting a spell on me!' The magic of Nerkhalyn's lower fire resist unravels. :) [/log] lol not only books, but artifacts poping are crucial for invokers... like that xsansarh i think he had 100% on air spells :) >:( speaking of teleports...playing invoker, the worst day for me was when i cowardly teleported to avoid risk of losing chance eq with 30 AF and book of firechain. Of course, teleport was lethal and some other person collected things at pit (including the book! ) :P. Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn. Post by: Rialon on August 02, 2007, 05:41:01 pm Eh, damned faerie fire! Could not place it on Mya from five or six attempts. And yes, laziness is the number one reason of short life, i say that as a patient ;). But taking all that time to make you recall from battle and then you recall on your own from total safety- that is funny.
PS: I do not have manticore also, but it would be a totally different fight if you had firechain or EFB for sure. And i had burning skin at the moment by the way. Not that it matters much in form... Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn. Post by: deda on August 02, 2007, 08:58:19 pm Algrash has arrived.
The ethereal spirit of Soth's wife has arrived. A young red dragon has arrived. The shadow of the zombie of an eternally damned warrior has arrived. The shadow of the zombie of an eternally damned warrior has arrived. An undead knight has arrived. The spectral guardian of Dargaard Keep has arrived. A wraith has arrived. A wraith has arrived. 8 minions for a chemosh priest? Ain't it a bit too much? The only worse thing is 12 mummies... Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn. Post by: Mentalist on August 03, 2007, 11:45:21 am Chemosh minions are nothing, nothing compared to necros minions.
All must be gathered every time of login too, cannot be soulbound etc. Only shadows can be past casters rank, and shadows hit weakly and with chill. Wraiths & spectres are much stronger attack, but they have very low hp. Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn. Post by: Matthew on August 03, 2007, 11:55:32 am Actually there are ways to obtain stronger minions, also you can control undeads that have equipment like shields or spears which necro's can't do.
Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn. Post by: Mentalist on August 03, 2007, 01:40:25 pm Equipment comment is true, but still, controlled undeads (with spellpower as I don't know if it affects it) must be less than rank of the caster...
34th rank mob will never be as dangerous as 45+ ranked mummy :) Title: Re: Dancing around the Krynn.
