Title: of beasts and herecy... Post by: deda on August 12, 2007, 07:44:59 am I've noticed a few things about determination:
1. It doesn't stack with dragon punches 2. It doesn't stack with throw/ ground control 3. It doesn't stack with the rage of the wolverine 4. It DOES stack with - BASH?!?!? My point: not sure if it's a bug, but i am sure that a beast in Solamnia gets his special attacks enhanced by crusade skill or whatever it is called. P.S. It stacks with kicking and that is the only good thing about it.. Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: Rionne on August 12, 2007, 09:07:51 am It stacks with resist. Isn't that enough? :)
Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: Rialon on August 12, 2007, 01:30:53 pm Aha, stacking of outrage and resist is what brought changes to Fists. Stacking of determination and dragon punches would be scary after Nuya. ;)

You're kender will be yesterday's news when I'm done re-equiping my beastie! ;D Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: deda on August 12, 2007, 08:10:33 pm It stacks with resist. Isn't that enough? :) Solamnia's crusade stacks with Solamnic plate which stacks with bless, sanc, harden skin, displacement, haste... Isn't that enough? :P Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: Rialon on August 12, 2007, 08:30:49 pm If i am not mistaken crusade is just additional hr/dr against evils, no? Not that deadly of a skill.
Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: deda on August 13, 2007, 12:46:32 am If i am not mistaken crusade is just additional hr/dr against evils, no? Not that deadly of a skill. You are right. And being as such it stacks with every possible attack of a Solamnia member. That is the whole point of this topic. I mean, of all the skills in the repertoire determination mostly stacks with bash? Btw, don't confuse determination with outrage. The latter works much better and more often, that's why the fists lost the ability to resist at the same time while outraged. Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: Matthew on August 13, 2007, 01:05:43 am Heretics can be of neutral alignment, what do solamnics do then?!
Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: deda on August 13, 2007, 03:47:31 am Ask Grimm if he ever had any problems with Remmer?

Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: deda on August 14, 2007, 12:28:48 am What i meant was stacking damroll is not that powerful, whereas stacking determination is. There is a possibility it could be very powerful, except for one thing - it doesn't work so often. Sometimes determination enhances damage 3 times per round, sometimes not even once in 2 fights. Not to mention bunches of misses. I agree, it would be overpowered to stack it with dragon punches, but then it should be changed not to stack with bash. It is like an offence against common sense. I am satisfied with my bashes doing scratches, they don't have to injure with determination... Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: Matthew on August 14, 2007, 01:08:06 pm You can't compare Remmer to Grimm!
Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: deda on August 16, 2007, 01:34:43 am You can't compare Remmer to Grimm! Well, you asked what are solamnics to do with heretics of neutral alignment... I know that two of them cannot be compared, since Remmer is(was?) much less experienced than Grimm...Title: Re: of beasts and herecy... Post by: Sirrion on August 22, 2007, 11:08:01 am No bug.
