Interesting fact - original english spelling of 'griffon'(which is french spelling) - Griffoun Todays 'english' spelling 'Gryphon' derived from latin spelling 'Gryphus' heh. Languages are whack. Title: Re: griffon Post by: ezus on August 26, 2007, 11:57:14 am Yeah, it should be A griffon spreads his wings (for flight) and leaps into the air. Why? Griffon is not small creature, so it need jump firstly then spread the wings. In other way gravitation must hold it on earth. Title: Re: griffon Post by: Matthew on August 26, 2007, 02:13:46 pm Topic is about missing R from spread, theres nothing wrong with the sentence!
