I don't know its current dependancy, so I suggest the formula being like wielding weapons with ave like 24 at topmost.

For instance strangling an opponent that uses protective magics/prayers almost always results in removal of protections as the duration on them at mid ranks is very small(especially for the good ones), extra damage is to much i think...
