As far as I can tell, Warder griffons do not rescue, and ranger pets do not rescue either. However, I take that as part of my rp. As a ranger I would never expect my pets to rescue me. I would not ask to put them in harm's way. I am a nature protector. As a Solamnic knight, I would think that honor would not permit one to request a rescue. Takhisis knights, necros, and some others would not have such issues. Guardians should, but maybe rescue is more of a class concern..
