Title: follow Post by: dedraelos on December 27, 2007, 03:51:53 am If I lead a group, I have to destroy it in order to keep my enemies from following me.
Title: Re: follow Post by: Kage on December 27, 2007, 04:21:48 am - yup...pain. Need to make nofollow a 'from then on situation' as in if in a group...you now will not allow any followers. And add how to remove members or one member in group help file
Title: Re: follow Post by: Matthew on December 27, 2007, 07:08:18 am Can make the 'nofollow' command stop people using the follow command to follow you. And add a command, 'group disband' to disband your group completely and/or change the 'group' command so that 'group person' also removes a person from your group.
Title: Re: follow Post by: Quino on December 27, 2007, 11:47:20 am I like the way nofollow currently works.
Title: Re: follow Post by: dedraelos on December 27, 2007, 11:50:19 am I can't possibly see how it's designed that you must break up your group to keep your enemies from following you also.
Title: Re: follow Post by: Quino on December 27, 2007, 11:55:27 am If you already have group (= big light lightwalking gopa), you shouldn't worry about enemy stalking you :)
Title: Re: follow Post by: Kage on December 27, 2007, 04:50:07 pm - following someone like that...is like the poor man's hunt or stalk. Flee should break non-grouped followers
Title: Re: follow Post by: Matthew on December 27, 2007, 04:55:07 pm Honestly its never bothered me, but i can see both sides of it, Its all good if your group is all the same rank, but if your highest ranked and someone 4 ranks higher comes what good is your group?
PS. If your arguing against something that will halt abuse of game mechanic's, you must be an abuser. Title: Re: follow Post by: Quino on December 28, 2007, 01:05:11 am Nah, I don't see why should nofol get rewritten if someone can't use advantages of it / got killed by some vicious IRC maniac who used it :)
P.S. I'm arbuzer, indeed Title: Re: follow Post by: Kiri-Jolith on December 28, 2007, 07:53:49 pm Not a BUG, it has been working like this forever.
