Title: follow
Post by: dedraelos on December 27, 2007, 03:51:53 am
If I lead a group, I have to destroy it in order to keep my enemies from following me.

- yup...pain.   Need to make nofollow a 'from then on situation' as in if in a group...you now will not allow any followers.  And add how to remove members or one member in group help file

Can make the 'nofollow' command stop people using the follow command to follow you. And add a command, 'group disband' to disband your group completely and/or change the 'group' command so that 'group person' also removes a person from your group.

I like the way nofollow currently works.

I can't possibly see how it's designed that you must break up your group to keep your enemies from following you also.

If you already have group (= big light lightwalking gopa), you shouldn't worry about enemy stalking you :)

- following someone like that...is like the poor man's hunt or stalk.  Flee should break non-grouped followers

Honestly its never bothered me, but i can see both sides of it, Its all good if your group is all the same rank, but if your highest ranked and someone 4 ranks higher comes what good is your group?

PS. If your arguing against something that will halt abuse of game mechanic's, you must be an abuser.

Nah, I don't see why should nofol get rewritten if someone can't use advantages of it / got killed by some vicious IRC maniac who used it :)

P.S. I'm arbuzer, indeed

Not a BUG, it has been working like this forever.
