I offer to made 'locateable' clanpowers.
It will be easy to understand situation.

If not - lets make any mark on outer or inner guard. Watching on one of this defenders you can understand - have clan power or not.

Its realy bad to raid enemy's clan and got no power in the end. Better leave before start. All must be happy...

-Your inner guard will tell you who stole it...but I think the relic is locateable also by some means.

I noticed it isn't possible to use locate relics to find where clan relics are anymore...
Better to return it to locate object so assassins can have a use for locate object other than spamming c 'locate' orb...

As I see all you want is to step on easy way.  >:(
There are many interesting things to locate. Not just orbs.  ;)

Inners tell that only to members of the respective clan i believe.

- ahh yes thats what I thought he meant.  ok I see the dilemma.  perhaps killing someones inner twice transfer the power to the new raiding clan.  if the clan holding relic is sleeping.

Nah... it will be foolish to clans battling in the keep of another because both want the powers of that clan.
It would be better if when you killed a inner guard that already has been raided, it appears when he dies who raided them. And if you wish, take the power of that clan slaying the outer guard of the clan who raided.
Example: Takhisis goes to raid Guardians, but as he slays the inner guardian, it shows that Guardians has been raided by Heretics already. So the Knights of Takhisis go and slay the outer guard of the Heretics and get the book of law from him.
PS: Make this only possible after you slayed the inner of the relic you wish to take, say in this case, Guardians.

How is that?

- doesnt work quite right.  Example :Solamnics go to raid takhisis, it shows that takhisis has been raided by guardians already.  So the knights of solamnia go and slay the outer guard of Guardians?  Guardians wouldnt be happy about that.  As they have neutral/peace relations seems always.

In that case, Solamnic just dont steal that power from Guardians.
My point is that it still wouldn't be any better if Solamnics raided Takhisis and took the  head of elf that Guardians held. In a way, they will be taking from Guardians still. Only it doesn' t involve attacking the Guardians. Of course the clans in peace/truce wouldn't fight eachother, even for the powers of other clans.
But remember also, in help file it states that not even Guardians and Solamnic Knights are allies, and there may come a time in which they battle eachother.

This is not good idea, its just excuse for easy way of everything.
might as well just code it to say you ask outer guard nicely and
he gives you power.

and you can locate all powers through locate relic

I see a problem - If you dont know have the power of enemy clan or dont have - what to do?

Raid your enemies and find out like everyone else. You can see what clan powers are held by every clan you want to if you know how. And it doesn't require locate spells.

For example, fighter don't have even locate spell. And what?

Some time ago there was possibility to "locate" clanpowers. Then it was removed. Try to think why.

One more time easy way - try to find it out in Realm by yourself.  >:(
