Title: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: arre on February 04, 2008, 12:10:43 pm 1. Lunge
It is always hits, even if skill is not maxed. (sorry, brothers!) 2. Backhand Too often misses (with 100% it missed 3 times in a row). Especially comparing with lunge. 3. Forest blending. While mounted you cannot blend by 'blend' command but can by 'forest' command. (sorry, mounted elves!) Title: Re: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: Quino on February 04, 2008, 12:22:27 pm Kenders' thrust skill does not check AC, always hitting tough guys (no misses at baron, overlord of onslaught etc); whirl checks neither
Title: Re: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: deda on February 04, 2008, 01:26:42 pm Whirl can miss sometimes! I don't recall thrust ever missed when mastered. But since both skills do not check any damage multipliers(except enhanced damage) - they are harmless. Ok, make thrust miss so as people do not see you biased for the kender.
Title: Re: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: Quino on February 04, 2008, 01:50:04 pm So? Pugil, backhand etc rarely land on high level mob. Why thrust should not be the same?
Title: Re: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: deda on February 04, 2008, 02:11:44 pm maybe make pugil/backhand work better?
Title: Re: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: Quino on February 04, 2008, 02:41:07 pm deda, there are dozens of skills that work same way :)
they should be all revamped then.. oh well, it's up to kiri to decide Title: Re: Lunge, backhand and forest blending Post by: Kiri-Jolith on February 19, 2008, 02:46:36 pm Lunge is supposed to hit, when skill fails it deals less damage.
Backhand chance to work is about 50%, and it is not a bug. You should move it to ideas section. Forest blending fixed. |
