Title: overhead + critical hit Post by: Raider on April 15, 2008, 12:06:48 pm small testing of overhead:
con image A ghostly image looks just a little tough. You make a powerful overhead strike with your staff. You deliver a devastating blow to a ghostly image! Your overhead blow misses a ghostly image. 14 misses. Every miss is with critical hit. You make a powerful overhead strike with your staff. Your overhead blow *** DEMOLISHES *** a ghostly image! 43 hits. None are with critical hit. Title: Re: overhead + critical hit Post by: omledufromage on April 15, 2008, 07:58:31 pm I always thought a critical hit to be something like hitting a foe in a weak spot or something... kinda when you roll a "20" on D&D and confirm the attack. If that is what it actually represents that it makes no sense at all to miss a critical hit... and also... it makes no sense to strike critical hits against undeads and such...
