Insisting wasn't good idea too, this makes your advice look indeed like an order. Part II: Caught and were punished. It's all right from both sides (punishment was moderate, and so was the crime). Part III: Way too harsh. It's indeed OK to make some skills down to 1% or something like that, maybe an additional slay for an insolence. Deny is just medieval Chemosh-fashion style.
