A freezing green mist curls around the massive figure of a knight,
wreathing his jagged armor with its icy embrace, throwing its eerie glow
within the deepening gloom. The knight seems to flicker in and out of
being, one moment as solid as a mountain, the next as insubstantial as
mist. His gauntleted fist curls around a smoky, flaming rod, a huge tower
shield clutched to his other side. His helm is fashioned in the likeness of
a sneering jackal, but without eyehole or visor, the sinister knight
needing no mortal senses to stalk you, for this is an undead creature in
the service of Lord Soth. Caradoc was his name when he walked among the
living, a champion of men and law. Now his fate is bound to the will of
Soth and his soul is damned for ever.

Sentence about the shield and the flaming rod has been removed.
