A spring general is using: <worn on torso> a velvet lined platemail <worn on feet> a pair of velvet lined boots <worn on arms> arm guards lined in velvet He's unarmed, yet still "to whip". The same applies to summer general (he "shocks" when missing hes shoking staff).
