Not so harsh, it could be gift from a friend... you see that damage from those weapons here wasnt very big. Only weapon without additional items for damage makes not drastic difference. Other items are pretty normal even lower for warrior of that rank, so i dont think there  was some transferring. Could be pit, or looting corpse, or even gift. :)
