it wouldn't change the situation for the better. Why?

the answer is simple:
- every single spell has a 100% chance of success when mastered (talking about buffs)
- every single skill has a chance to fail even when mastered (toughen excluded)

obviously, mud is magic-oriented. Therefore, no need for buffing herecy coz they are doomed due to the current game system.

i think power is fine. just need right races and right clans. camp needs mino rangers and fighters. and maybe a shadow. and knights needs to let in dwarfs again and get any members, and i still don't know why minos can be outcast knights and not knights.

Have to agree. Heretics and Tower seem balanced against each other, but severely unmatched against magically aided fighter types.

some DL facts: there are no outcast knights in the books, only knights of Takhisis. None of them is minotaur or draconian, only human. They despise magic, since Takhisis herself hates it as she hates her son Nuitari and all her knights are granted empowers similar to those of knights. There was only one dwarf in Solamnia knights - Kharas. None after him. Also, no sign of Herecy, Warders, Cobar, Guardians in the original series.

Mino in the Camp can be deadly, if you know how to play minos and have no problem with all your skills failing more often than not. I had a problem with that so I deleted mine. Besides, mino cleaver/basher is deadly in any clan, I'd say it's less deadly in herecy due to lack of buffs/potions/ autocasties.

return auto-casting items to work from forms as they did before :P
