Someone's been abusing a bug, it seems...

the Hallway of Giants
  This hallway is much different than the others you have seen. No elaborately
decorated paintings are to be found. Only a strong iron door to the west.
To the east is an ivory door with a picture of a cleric praying to his
god above it. A HUGE adamantite door is north of you, scratches and dried
blood cover this door and a bone or two can be seen tossed a few feet from
it.

lThe Lord's Chamber
  You are totally blown away as you are hit with, not only the immense size and
vastness of the chamber, but the scent of dried meat and blood wafting your
way from an unknown direction. On the north wall you notice a large fireplace
blazing like an inferno, providing ample heat for the Lord on cold nights.
You also notice a large window looking out over a vast display of trees and
sky on the north wall. A large table extends in the middle of this chamber
from the west to east wall, with a large throne seated at the western side of
the table.

preparing to attack one of the world's cities. Which one? Only time can
say. Turning your attention to the Lord himself, he does not seem pleased
with your uninvited entrance to his Chamber. He quickly stands up to engage
you.

     (Glowing) A Banner of the Obsidian Alliance flows in the wind here.
     A simple ring is here, reflecting light.
Ainsan the male wild elf is here, fighting the Lord of the Giants.
(Translucent) (Dark Aura) (White Aura) Lepisto the male dark elf is here, fighting the Lord of the Giants.
(White Aura) The Lord of the Giants is here, fighting Lepisto.

The Lord of the Giants's crush strikes for Lepisto, but he isn't there.
Ainsan's rapid restrike decimates the Lord of the Giants.
Lepisto's chromatic armor crackles and blue lightning streaks forth!  <<<<============= what chromatic armor?
Lepisto's fork lightning DISEMBOWELS the Lord of the Giants!

not abusing. He just still didnt met imms. There is no way to remove aura except of dying. And this is not reason to not play, yes?

Haha, Gorthar has same problem. When limited items with auto-affect vaporises - affect still remains. Gorthar is now flying permanently - shredded wings vaporised long long time ago...

It would be abuse if character after long absence enters wear chrome and quit - reenter - chrome vaporises - quit again. Ex-owner is running to regain it. This is an abuse -  not the case with Lepisto  ;D

But it would be perfect abuse... I've just imagined chrome aura affect without taking armor slots. Char would be very very hard  ;D
