Title: bad news Post by: deda on September 27, 2014, 10:25:05 am some time ago, on FB, I sorta became friend with Margaret Weiss and Tracy Hickman, so naturally I asked them where are the new books coming out... and she told me that their publishing house (that still holds the licence) is not interested in publishing new adventures... :-[
Title: Re: bad news Post by: n00b on September 28, 2014, 09:24:02 am Dragonlance was one of the first Fantasy Universe. Detailed, described, logical.
But not the best. All persons in this book really unnatural. Only Tasselhoff is awesome. Others just a decoration for his travels. Old fantasy - Michael Moorcock, Weiss/Hickman etcetera are kinda fairy tales. There was a time for such fantasy, now it is time for another. More realistic. You know when main hero not only whines, loves and fights like Tanis. But he also have needs - he eats, he have sex, he goes to the bushes after he drinks too much beer. DL heroes were cartoon heroes. Not real. Except Tasselhoff. He es awesome as I said before. It is time to be cool and time to go away silently. Thanks to W/H couple for making my youth more coloured, but now Good Bye. I hope royalty from books and games are enough for their life now.
