Title: Some fighter skills ideas

* Merge staff and spear spec back into a single spec. Reasoning:
- these weapons are too similar to split them. If anything, polearms should be a separate spec.
- Stand off is the most important skill, both have it
- both have leg sweep
- jab is somewhat useless, since lunge exists.
- Harpoon seems to be a bad skill.
So only impale and chargeset will merge into staff spec, which i think is fine.
Another way would be to make spears one-handed if used with shield. But that requires a lot of thinking and creating new skills.

* Allow impale to be used with polearms without mount. Improve damage of chargeset when wielding a polearm

* Improve overhead skill chances to hit high level mobs

* Improve flurry skill - set a minimum of 2 strikes. And it should not fail when mastered. Average number of strikes should be 4. If you are very lucky - 6.

* Allow cross slice to be used when mounted

* Add a damaging skill to use with a axe (and maybe with polearm) - hack/slash/slice - damage+bleeding. With polearms - higher damage, but more lag.

* Improve eyejab chances with whips. Improve choke and pull chances.

* Allow backhand skill to be used with flail. Whip/flail spec lacks a damaging skill. Maybe just add a new skill instead, but
it is kinda hard to find a skill that is applicable to both whips and flails, since these are very different weapons in real life.

* Improve backhand skill chances when hitting higher level mobs. Add check of weapon flags.

* Improve boneshatter damage. The blow is so strong that it shatters the bones, so it should do higher than normal damage.

* Improve drumming maces chances to hit anything when mastered. It should not fail to hit. Daze is a different story

* Add a damaging skill to hand-to-hand spec - barrage - several hits with a chance to deafen.

* Improve ground control - add chance for -str/dex affect

* Dagger spec is mostly fine. No need to change. Maybe only do not allow undercut from a mount - since it is kinda odd.

* Shield spec?

* Ranged spec I wont touch yet.


P.S. Can someone please write descriptions for the new skills? I lack the imagination.
- axe damaging skill
- whip/flail damaging skill
- hand-to-hand flurry-like skill
- message when ground control would apply its affect

i.e.:
You hack wildly with your axe at Zondra!
Your hack mauls Zondra.
Blood gushes from Zondra's open wound.

For hand to hand should be clap. You clap your hands on thier ears and deafen them

Skill concept idea, since we have rounds/minute timers:

assault
You start preparing your brutal assault against Zondra.
(gain affect for 15 minutes. This affect might boost some things)
After 3 rounds:
You see an opening in Zondra's defences and assault him!
Your punch mauls Zondra.
Your punch mauls Zondra.
Your kick decimates Zondra.
Your punch mauls Zondra.
Your kick maims Zondra.
Zondra appears to be stunned by the blows.

You get lagged for 3 rounds while preparing, but after execution you are not lagged and can immediately use any skills.

Hack/slash/slice skill for axes and also maybe new skill for swords (cut? replace cross slice?) could me made in a way to be able to target different body parts for different effects.

torso - to apply bleeding and -con
arms - to apply -str
legs -  to apply -dex/drain some moves

spear has no leg sweep. staff cannot be used to lunge. better merge polearms and spears, since both weapon types have a metal tip.

I think jab needs to do has damage as say overhead.

Syntax: hew <victim> [body part]

Attempt to deal a debilitating blow with your axe at a given body part of your opponent.

When successful, it will deal significant damage as well as reduce their stats or cause bleeding.
Possible targets are:
  - torso (bleeding and constitution loss)
  - arms (strength loss)
  - legs (dexterity and movement loss)

You can attempt to hew repeatedly at different body parts to apply other debuffs. <-- ?


You yell, 'Help! Zondra is hacking at me!'
Quino yells, 'Help! Zondra is hacking at me!'
You feel sharp pain in your arms/torso/legs as Zondra hacks his axe into you!

Damages your target with a sweeping motion, using your whip or flail.

You yell, 'Help! Zondra is flogging me!'
Quino yells, 'Help! Zondra is flogging me!'
You scream in pain as Zondra sweeps their weapon and whips you!

Syntax: pummel

Using your experience of hand to hand fighting, barrage your victim with a relentless
series of blows, possibly stunning them. This skill works best when you are proficient
in hand to hand fighting.


Zondra flails their fists madly at you!
Zondra's pummeling hurts you.
Zondra's pummeling hurts you some more.
You are stunned by the blows.

Quino twists your ankle with a joint lock.

You manage to pull Zondra's muscle while clinching with them.
