Being immune to poison you can catch 'poison' spell affect and message every tick:
[log]
You shiver and suffer.
You are unaffected by your poison.
[/log]
It's quite possible we have the same story with immune to disease and plague.

Keeping it for now (you can lose your magical immunity and then the poison should kick in)

So  strength decreasing should also appears when you lose your magical immunity)))

'tis a bit of a mess
AFAIR we have three kinds of poison immunity — 100% resists, mob immunities, specials
and multiple ways of applying poison, some of which check some of the immunities, while others don't.

when you're poisoned & immune, poison still affects strength and probably recovery (of this I'm not sure)

what's more fun, you can poison yourself on purpose with a weak poison to avoid being poisoned for realz by a hard-hitting mob. logic dictates if combining poisons is out of the picture for mechanics/balance purposes, it should at least upgrade the strength to max out of two
