Finally no distractions, no discussions and a year or so? of work, and it's here. Something you've never seen in any MUDs (okay something I've never seen). Gather a balanced, ready for everything, group of 35+ and find a pirate captain. Helps to read: "transmuted flame", "residuum" and (lowkey) ... "abyss" (P.S. A few answers to mechanics questions asked at various places: - in the Abyss, your corpse decomposes much faster (quick pit); - it's wise (and very possible) to figure out how to exit before you jump in; - +luck gear, Abyss floor (there's 100 of them by the way :o), mob rarity, mob class - everything matters; - +luck gear of your groupmates matters; - residuum can't be looted in PK *yet* until its economy is stable.
