Title: moonwell changes
Post by: eleazar on December 31, 2005, 11:08:21 pm
I do not know if it happens because of new changes with abreviations of mob names. Simply i cant make moonwell to druid apprentice any more.
I could do that always before few days before, and now when i try moonwell to druid apprentice i always fail.

I have noticed this too.  Many Moonwell fails while before this was not so frequent.  And this seems to be a new occurence, or just dumb luck lately?

Having the same problems with gate. But I thought this was all part of those new changes to transportation spells? ???

I'm not sure (failed to test it right) but it's probably due to way those spells took target. For a long time, they took whole string after spell name as target - no quotes needed, just whole string. Now it seems that summon spell (and probably others) take just 1st word from argument, so You are probably creating moonwell to 'druid'.
That's just a guess, imms can correct me.

My opinion is a bit different - I still can summon 'don' for donkey, 'merce' for mercenary and so on.

I think these changes applied after 'where' command remake as if now you can't see 'drui' and must type full name of mob, which one is a target for gate or moonwell..

Moonwell is already fixed. Gate spell works as it should.
