Or is it solely based on if the god of a certain shrine thinks your rp is good enough, and you pass whatever tests. Or mabey do you find the shrine, go to it, and petition?

There was a Grandmaster of Solamnia who was a member of healing hand, and Alvin(think this was name) was a lich, part of chemosh's cult and was high arcanus of the tower. I also remember someone in morgions shrine in the guardians. ???
