Title: Ranged spec stuff

The amount of moves quickshot uses is excessive in the extreme.
The amount of moves normal ranged attacks use is excessive.
Some small indication as to how much damage you're doing would be nice.

I had more but I can't remember them atm, will edit post later.

I remembered one, a slot to wear a quiver would be nice. Unless there are quivers out there with stat bonuses which i haven't encountered... Is it too much to ask for quivers with stat bonuses?  ;D  But seriously a new slot to wear a quiver would be epic.

This is main problem with ranged spec, overly complicated usage mechanism and no indication of damage.

I dealt with the complications and typing with a set of alias's and script... not too hard...

ranged is best used when not specced to lure tough mob away from it's minions... nuff said.

The only way to log it is with someone waiting in the room with the mob while the other person shoots it from a distance, right?

When draconians south from High cleric tower went near the end of their area they shoot at the ones who pass by in HCT. one shot deals from === oblit to >>>anih. The question is how many you can make before you are in close combat?

The other question is if these stuck with deathblow, outrage etc.?

Its not a question of how many you can make before melee, though more is obviously better. This is FREE damage. The only way you take any in return is if your enemy is doing the same and can see you.

I share your enthusiasm always BEFORE I take ranged spec on a character. It fades pretty fast though.
