Some times sirri makes me question how I even have a job.  I'm more confused now than before.

(effective saves) = (victim's saves) - (your spellforce)

Spellpower is +level to all spells, so generally much stronger than spellforce.
For just the purpose of saves, 1 spellpower = 2 spellforce, roughly, subject to unannounced changes as I'm still tweaking this. But spellpower (level) also participates in damage calculation, ability to heal/dispel, etc.

What exactly is spellforce? Is it the same as spellpower, but only for the purpose of defeating save checks?

The air before you flares up and Mob's spell reflects!
Mob breathes out a cloud of poisonous gas!
Mob's blast of gas * DEVASTATES * you!

Mob breathes a cone of hot fire over you!
You are thirsty.
You deflect Mob's fire breath with your shield.

I think it's fine the way it is. Just my 2 cents

Right now it works from the inventory. I think it should only work when worn.
Of course you can remove it after getting the buff, but still..

Btw, maybe phrase/special spells should only work while you wear the item, so the buff disappears if the item removed? (spider bracelet, knight banner)
