Caradoc, the Damned Shade has some small wounds.

And

Someone howls with unholy fury, trying to grasp your very soul.
Burning white light leaps from Caradoc, the Damned Shade fingers.
Someone's blast MANGLES you!
Someone is gushing blood.

May be "from someone' fingers" too?
