I can name several dozens of other spells not curable by spellbane. It isn't supposed to be a heal-everything skill.

Lots of things would no longer be 'magic' once they take effect, disease and poison for instance. You could even go so far as to say some things like fire, cold and lightning are no longer magic when they are hitting you, the magical bit being the part that created the 'instance of the element'. Maybe spellbane shouldnt reflect them?!

No, it's not. Restoration spell cures undead drain and not energy drain... strange?

Yep, and there are dozens of other 'strange' examples, it's what brings the diversity.

Without something 'strange' there could be just two spells - 'the bad' and 'the good' Wink
