ANIMAL COMPANIONS [Special] [RANGER]
This feat allows you to call one additional animal of your choice. You cannot
call more than two animals of one type.

Just wonder, how it should work?

Right now it work in that way:
- call animal - and got 2 lion and affect to next call for 24 hours
- only when affect going down, i able call one bear in additional.

For me, i see no reason to wait so long for additional animal, ranger use it for sudden ambush,
for fast re-raid etc.
In way when additional animal come up only after such delay - seems to be useless.

Have anyone opinion?

if you want to allow ranger to call all anymals at once, also
cleric of Chemosh should create 2 wraiths(spectres) at once
and clerics of Sargonnas should call 2 elementals

now they can call only one, wait for affect fall, and call another


but. anyway i think ranger already strong enoght even with 2 minions.

Animal companions needs fixing in some way, it is really bad waste of 3rd circle.

One bear after 48 hours is a lot...

And clerics of chemosh can raise 2 controlled undeads & 1 spectre & 2 shadow in a few hours, don't compare them

But rangers are quite well-balanced I think, strong in some ways, weak in others.

Ah, i have no idea of manuals for rangers. I just knew Keeno had 3 lions.

Priests of Chemosh, they don't have weapon specialization, 3rd attack dualwield etc.
Let's do not compare them, true...

And what about necromancers? :-)

Animal companions feat is to be reworked as it does not stack with a Ranger Manual.

Cant you buy a lion as a pet then call on your nature animals maybe thats how he got the third or is that denied?
