It's bout features that grant you some health. Smiley

Look, most of players offen choose it. Change it a bit. Yes i wish to have a lot of hps. But i must pay somehow for it. Losing some dexterity for example.
Look, i am kender, very dextrous one and have around 1,5k hps. Great i must be looked like a hyppopotam.

By the way, if i am not mistaken there was a feat for scrolls, staves and wands. Mind telling me if it will be back and what it did in the first place?

Just make other feats work, for real. E.g. I've tried ghoul lord - it's nightmare.

1. You have around 30% to raise ghoulish with 55% in feat. Also feat % raises very slowly.
2. All special effects only work on successfully hit of mummy and it's not very often. Fights with necro last for 3-4 rounds generally, then necro or enemy flees/dies.
3. Special effects once again depends on save - I've never seen paralyze (the only usefull) working on player, it rarely lands on mob. Get real, you lose 5*35 hp for a tiny chance to paralyze (only usefull) and it have to bypass enemies saves. At least make it work like in cf, it works very rarely, but paralyzes player totaly.

Summary:

ghoul lord sucks or am I missing something?

Better to improve other feats than to ruin current ones.

I have to agree with quino here. Most classes abiliites were cut significantly in the last 2 years, but MOB strength remained the same. The feats helped balance this indifference quite nicely in most cases, so if you drop toughness/other useful feats then the disparity will be even greater. If anyone thinks MOBs are too easy to kill please correct me, but I don't see it that way.

Yeah, try killing duergar champion wielding his freezing bite with with your kender beast that has almost 70% resist frost and be prepared for some nice surprises... Especially if you use rage Tongue

Just yesterday i finally chose my 3rd feat for Thulga. I chose a 3rd toughness bringing his total hps to somewhere around 1600 half equiped. If i had the same gear as before i would be around 2000. Thats alot of hps but i dont think its that great in pvp situations. Really all it gave me was a bigger buffer in which i could decided to run or not. I kind of wish i had chosen empower spell instead, mainly because im under the assumption my heals would be alot stronger? Which would be of much more benefit in group situations whereas my having more hps is not much different if im getting my butt kicked anyway. For instance, if i am fighting someone like Erty and he is destroying me its just going to take a round or 2 longer, im still not going to win, i might get away though. It will help me zone and possibly fight other people that deal less damage but other than that i dont think its that great.

Ok, my turn to ask questions... I have chosen combat spellcasting for my abjurer yet I am still unable to cast spellturning, sanctuary, displacement and all major spells during the combat... What am I doing wrong? What spells will I be able to cast in combat, anyways?

My opinion is that the point is not about Toughness and Mind Over Body feats should be cut down. It's just the other feats that are useless.

There are lots of feats that are all but pathetic. No one ever chooses them.

I remember very nice someone's idea about horse nomand feat. I'd like to see Nomand whose horse almast always recovers from all bashes and feat should give a player chance to buy horse a bit better than usual one cs Noman a specialist in these animals he always chooses the best horse from shop.
It's very hard to ride somebody now... to many indoors rooms and too weak mounts.
