All should be absorbing. And note two different types of stuff, both called gauntlets.

Also the armguards description should read
(2) A pair of dark armguards lie on the ground, absorbing the light.

and "a darkened gauntlets" makes absolutely no sense. should be "a pair of darkened gauntlets"
