I have a question, why did you flamestrike yourself till bleeding wounds? Since you start getting "you step back at the last moment, weakening someone's strike..." etc vs cleave at small wounds, wouldn't that be enough to stop instakill...

When your enemy is in deep bleeding wounds, you can't cleave them at all, instead you receive the message "They are too hurt and watchful to cleave right now."

Maybe I'm wrong, but I think it's more about if outcast comes to cleave him, and he's unable to because cleave won't work, then outcast fails to initiate combat, which gives knight the chance to initiate/flee. Could be wrong.

injuring yourself to little, a tick goes by, your suddenly open to cleave again because of regen.
