i can  try to make chameleon while i am in form.

anybody can "attempt" just like you can attempt to hide etc. you will just fail
every time.
You can also attempt to find water, but if you arent ranger you wont be so lucky

yeah you are right but i think you should think from this way too that i can become master very quick with this way

hes removed of the skill when he is in form though, it wont increase as he keeps trying
