I wish to use my laptop for Solace when I'm out and away from the office, but laptops have no nice easy keypad for n, s, e and w and everything is a bit cramped. Does anyone know of a special lap-top based MUD client that someone more clever than myself designed to fix such a boggle? Smiley

At any major electronics store you can buy wireless number-pads that will connect via USB.
I have these for some statistical projects. I also use it to walk around MUD... I think we can all agree that typing each letter is way too much of a pain.

Ok, on my laptop I have 6 buttons in the top right corner (insert, home, pgup etc) I use these for n,s,e,w,u,d.

for my laptop when i'm on business trips i bring a set of wireless key/board or wired keyboard and mouse, i also have one of those number pads which is also a usb hub (very helpful for when i'm trying to charge my phone and my ipod too lol.

I swear my laptop has more cords coming out then my desktop at home!
