- Please no drama, no toxic stuff etc. Respect each other. Let everyone play and enjoy.
- Respect legacy of Solace: roleplay.
- Strictly follow ALL RULES.

Consider clans closed for now. Write a role indicating you'd love a certain clan; you might be inducted at some point (don't worry about your level).

Coming soon: a solution for solo mages level grind. Multicharring is NOT allowed (see above about following all rules).

Cheers!

Join me online at easy uo shard Alexandria. Nothing like Ultimate Online, when you can't play Solace of course. Pm me if you want more info on this free shard.

Happy new year to all.

I miss this place...

There really is no reason to try another Mud once you've played Solace...

Probably... it is what happened last time...

But I don't think there's much point ot reopening if the players aren't willing to correct their own mistakes and arrogance towards gameplay... People knew that the game was unbalanced and often tried to take advantage. Poor rp, little respect towards rules, ooc ganging... etc... The list is endless. And no matter what imms did to try and help, players always got angry at them. Players wanted this to be their playground, without any sense of respect or responsibility towards everyone else.

And without a good body of imms and coders that feel it is worth trying to make a difference and working on and for the mud, reopening again seems pointless...

i think that is a unfair statement. i rpled and didn't have any ooc help. i know couple of people didn't. and i think even 3 imms would change that alot. people like to rp but at the same time it's more fun knowing that good rp will be rewarded or that you are beging watched.it's human nature that if you know you won't get caught to cheat, dropping a sword here uncursing something on last pal etc.  I think with 2-3 imms and one part time coder for crashes for now. no need to add anything new. and that game would be fine. it's a good enough mud to get new players with adding anything i feel.

My statement doesn't go for all players.

I do think a larger body of Imms would be better, and not because it couldn't be done with 3 or 4, but because less Imms means overloading each of them... I believe in a larger body of Imms because that way, each of them have their Immortals collegues shoulders to lean on. And I do believe in a more strict sense of playing, with harsh punishments towards rulebreaking...

anyhow... I'm way off topic... sorry...
