Lash doesn't work on flying persons.
Moreover lash should destroy fly affect like leap skill.

How come it's a bug? It's a feature.
The skill is akin to trip, lashing at the legs to make you stumble.
Stumbling when you're floating is a bit of a nonsense, which is reflected in success chances.

Nay, the end of the whip wraps around your leg(s) and you slam your opponent into the ground. So there is no problem to lash floating people.
