I offer to make hold person spell like a spellcraft for paralize.
You may paralize arms, legs, arms+legs and a small fixed chance to hold totally.

I think that paralysis and hold check different saves... Combining them would be overpowered.

You have not understand. It will be a very rare fixed persent to get such effect from paralysis.
