How about story like this:

Elven king Kith-Kanan and his guards in full gear were cursed and turned into undead. Should they undress? Or the gear would fall off upon turning?

gear would turn darkened, blackened anti good too, is that problem if guards turn to turn their gear...
it should fall...

Maybe it only affects living creatures? Since it is dead, it doesn't really matter if it is being zapped or not.  Roll Eyes
