Long have I been lost at sea,
This Minstrel, singer, and rover!
Once no few of you knew of me,
The kinder bard who journeyed with thee,
Yet sadly that journey is over.

I left on a boat, I traveled quite far,
When I heard of Solace's demise.
Dear Chemosh had left us, and I was lost,
For out on the ocean I was tossed,
and I feared Solace would never more rise.

Occasionally I heard of you lot,
How you had risen indeed from the ash.
Yet though I tried to drop a line,
I found that I was in quite the bind,
For Bards were Banned from Krynn!

I've always wanted to make my way back,
To old days and fond memories!
Yet until you will let me strum my lute,
I'm sorry I'll not start my commute,
Or reunite with my old cronies!
