ways of identify

Are there any means to identify items for classes who dont have ID spell/empower and dont have access to scrolls?
May be wands? Staves? Any mobs who ID for coins?

Lore is good, you just have to try a lot and combine the most repeating results

Lore is actually helpful if you know how to read what it's throwing at you. Having it perfected helps too.
