Why can not assassins be neutral. Would make perfect sense, they should have different set of wayfollow, but would allow lots of rp, mercenary life style and such. Could fight for either side. Heh, would start seeing assassins in the warders.

I believe that the idea of having no neutral assassins is to show that every assassin has an Idea he defends.
An assassin has a way of life and kills for it... be it good or evil... doesn't make much sense killing for nothing...
Everyone that kills... kills for something, be it power (EVIL) be it to protect others...

Perhaps, but if his purpose for killing is for money, then why not be neutral. Most money comes from having the most possible clients. Also, skilled martial artists often try to remain outside moral restraints and such, so better to be at balance with ones self. Lots of room for neutral assassins I think.

To some perhaps, but i never said out of love for money. Many assassins hire there services out. It is a way to make a living. And if that is all you are trying to do, seems pretty neutral to me.

I think the main reason there are not neutral assassins is because they are incredibly dedicated to their craft and embrace what they do with their whole soul. It's a path of life, and to me being neutral sounds like you're fence-sitting (ie: haven't chosen a side).

On the other hand, good assassins don't make a whole lot of sense to me... but that's another story.

You keep making that point. Assassins do not have to have a chosen goal. Mabey to be seasonal assassin, or shadow assassin, but beasts can be either or, clearly indicating that the wayfollow doesn't imply anything. And many assassins are nothing less than mercenaries, fighting only to make a living.
